The Civilian Welfare Council establishes a fund annually to send
condolence flowers when an associate has a death in their immediate
family. Immediate family includes spouses, children and parents. In the
event of an associate's death, the flowers can be sent to their
immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family may request that a $25
donation be made to the charitable or religious organization of the
family's choosing in honor or memory of the deceased. This policy
applies to current federal employees working on the DSCC installation.
To request condolences, please print and fill out the request form and
deliver it to: DSCC MWR Office, 3990 East Broad Street, Building 20,
Columbus, OH 43218, or call 614-692-1420.
Each year the Civilian Welfare Council requests information from any group on base requesting funding for authorized programs and activities. Requests for funding are solicited beginning in early spring of each year for funding in the following fiscal year (i.e. Spring 2009 for FY 2010 funding). All requests for funding must be submitted on the Request for Funding form by the specified due date. Requests are considered based on the requirements of approved programs and activities and an annual budget is formed.
